Renaming / Allocation stage

Part of the Extended Instruction Pipeline .

• Allocation of entries in the issue queue, reorder buffer and load/store queue
• If resources are not available, the instruction stalls
• Register Renaming happens here
• Instructions are dispatched to the issue queue
